Delighted to be holding the ritual of 108 Sun Salutations again at The Yoga Den to welcome the new year 

This little morning is a mini version of the 'Detox Day' that has run the last few years, and it is such a wonderful way to bring energy and purpose to this time of renewal.

108 Sun Salutations is a traditional yogic cleansing practice that is known to burn off impurities and toxins in both body & mind.  As well as a physical challenge, it is a powerfully meditative practice with the guided repetition of movements, each movement synchronised with the breath.

The number 108 is a sacred number in yoga mythology (as well of significance in mathematics & astronomy) and is used frequently in meditation and spiritual practices.

We will harness the power of this practice to set and charge up firm intentions for our year ahead.

The practice will end with a long, deep rest - a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) - to seal the intentions into our subconscious and the cells of our body.

The morning will be fuelled with plenty of fresh lemon and ginger tea to aid with the detoxification process!

This is the perfect practice to revitalise body and mind after any indulgence over the festive season

£35 for the morning 

Some yoga experience is recommended for the 108 sun salutations, however the practice can be modified to suit different abilities
